Waste of money

We have purchased Discovery Series books for our children in the past, in particular the train book is a favorite of my boys (age 5 and 3) however those were actual books. I bought this book for the kindle as a way to help entertain my children on a plane flight. We were getting a new puppy after out trip and it seemed like a good way to get them excited and look at all the different shapes and sizes of puppies.
Boy, was I wrong. This is 10 pages of pictures, 2 per page and small pictures at that. There is a sentence below each picture with the dogs description and those are the only words in the whole book. So basically I paid three dollars for 20 small pictures. Granted I didn't expect a lot out of this book, but I have to say it still fell well below my expectations. My children went through it in less than a minutes and my 5 year old asked where the rest of the book was. Good question.

Awww. Loved this book.

I gave this 4 stars because it is wonderful; they could have included a fun fact to each picture and I probably would have given that last star :)
Some people commented that the pictures were too small but on my Kindle Fire if I double tapped on the picture it opened to a larger view. So cute (maybe one had a face only a momma could love :)! LOL, I recommend this book to everybody who likes pictures of puppies! Especially at the excellent price of "free"! ...or even .99, the kids will love it and if you are thinking about a pet you could give them an idea of what some breeds look like and then go research the favorites.
Please look for a pet at rescue orgs or humane societies, you can search for either and follow with your zip code to find local places. Petfinder is helpful too.
